Picture half a dozen to ten self-confessed geeks—men and women—clustered around a booth, proudly unveiling their groundbreaking “new” machine à la Steve Jobs at an Apple II launch. The location must read instantly as a buzzing computer-show exhibit: branded backdrops, period-appropriate signage, tubes and CRT monitors, maybe a banner.
