Taking a radio from idea to model is really an industrial design problem before it's a CAD problem: getting the form, ergonomics, and control layout right first, since a radio lives or dies on how it feels to hold and operate, dial placement, speaker grille proportion, antenna integration. I'd start there before locking geometry. My approach: a short concept phase first, sketches or quick 3D blockouts so we align on form language and control layout, then refined parametric CAD in Fusion 360 with proper wall thickness, internal space allowance for electronics, and manufacturable detailing (draft, split lines) if this heads toward production. Delivered in STEP, native files, and renders to visualize the design.
