The task involves building the model from scratch, including reinforcement detailing, to simulate non-linear behavior of a concrete pier under static water pressure. Scope: • Develop a 3D Abaqus model, including proper reinforcement geometry and material properties. • Represent non-linear behavior using the Concrete Damaged Plasticity (CDP) model. • Apply accurate hydraulic loading so true pressure distribution is reflected. • Perform Finite Element Analysis combined with Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI). Expected Outputs: • Stress, strain, and displacement results (non-linear response visible). • Visualizations like stress-strain contours and deformation plots. • Localized cracking risk or yielding zones properly identified.
