We are 10 days behind from when this project was initially posted here on GAF. We selected a bidder that did not start on our project and failed to communicate.
#1 You MUST be available via instant messenger. After we select you as the winning bidder, you must be available so we can discuss the project and we can make sure you are 100% on track to complete our project.
We now need someone that can work on our project and dedicate their time until it is complete as we've already mentioned... we are 10 days behind due to a bidder who did absolutely nothing but waste our time! This project should only be a 2-4 day project MAX!
Again, this is a SIMPLE PROJECT... you are basically writing a script to copy a site to a folder within our website! The site needs only to contain the working files, not any extras, such as property info or images etc..
We have removed some of the original requests to make the project even easier, because now we are 10 days behind and need to have this done!
We've got a website for tracking the sales of homes and displaying property. It currently holds many listings of properties and homes for sale. We like our system and want to use it for other branches of our business in other cities. We want a feature to make a copy of our websites main base files and database into a new folder with a few simple steps.
Our property system works great and we do not need any modification to our existing code. We need simple script written to duplicate our site into a new folder called a "region".
This new script would allow an administrator to login with a username and password. It would then ask them to type in the new name of the region and default admin user/pass.
This new region would be added as a folder /new-region-name
This new region would contain the same exact files that makes our property system in "root" function, except it would be empty and ready to load in new properties.
Example:--> Our main site [url removed, login to view] runs with .aspx extentions and connects to a MS-Access Database.
Regions are cities in which we have other branches of our business.
Example of how it would work: [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view]
This new "Add Region" function would basically make a copy of our site and a copy of the database structure (truncated) except for a default Admin Login and create a new /folder on the server with the Regions name.
So on the new back-end feature or page, if I clicked new region and typed in the name of the region "Testing" a folder would be created [url removed, login to view]
Now I could visit this folder [url removed, login to view] and it would be just like our main site, except it would be empty and ready for data.

We have a few rules in regards to how we handle projects, due to issue we've dealt with in the past.
1. We NEVER escrow the full project amount
2. We will deposit 1/2 into escrow and upon successful completion of our project, we will release it. Then after we've received the files, we will transfer the balance to you.
