Create VB.Net Code for Recurring SQL Entries

Greetings - I have a financial site. I need a way for users to enter a row of data into the SQL Server db (I already have the web page and code-behind for this), then, using a drop-down box, choose a way for that entry to "repeat" on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Once the user makes the selection on how often the row of data they've entered will repeat, a duplicate of the original entry will be automatically entered depending on how often the user chose.
