hi, I’m very much familiar with SSIS SSAS SSRS and also during last three years I involved many project in ETL, data warehousing, BI reporting and 5 years of application development experience. I would highly appreciate if you assign this job to me I’m asking only 100 & I have enough confidence for complete this project because of I already completed two project for Interfacing Oracle EBS(Oracle 10g ,Oracle 11g DB) to DB2 systems by using MS SQL server application and all the reports generated by using SSRS . Hi, very interested in putting together a solution for you. I have over 15 years experience with Access, Excel. I have written numerous systems using both technologies. Looking at your requirements as well as the issues you have had with a previous attempt at providing you with a solution, I think the are a number of issues you need to be aware of. Firstly you relying on excel performing all of the analysis work on a large data set of information retrieved from an access database. I can see why your previous developer could only come up with a solution that took 5 minutes. Ideally you would won't the data you retrieve from access to have already been grouped into times periods, etc through the query you would run. Then all excel needs to do is present the query results on your report spreadhseet. The SQL query needs to do all of the work. If the example query data set you have provided is an indication of the number of records returned then this approach would take a mater of a few seconds. Hopefully this makes sense. It does also mean that it's unlikely that you will be able to improve much on the 5 minutes processing time if your are wonting a developer to process the data set example you have given first. As stated I think I can help but it will be dependant on whether (if successful with my bid) I have access to a copy of your access database albeit a cut down version of it. Many thanks Gareth
