Looking for a person to do technical support for a Software company during US daytime hours.

Respond to customers by email and chat. Occasionally talk to customers on the phone (we will provide a way). Occasionally, connect to a customer's computer using remote desktop software and perform installation or troubleshooting.

Our software synchronizes Outlook contacts, calendar, tasks and notes with smartphones and tablets (Android, iOS, Windows Phone) over the network (Wi-Fi or the phone's data connection).

Required skills

* Many of the problems customers face are related to network connectivity.

You need to understand networks. Be able to configure a home Wi-Fi router.

* Have Microsoft Outlook and be an Outlook user yourself.

* Own at least one smartphone.

TEST

As a test, please do the following

1) Download our program from [login to view URL] and install it on a computer that has Outlook installed.

2) Set it up to synchronize Outlook contacts and calendar with a smartphone or tablet (you can also sync tasks and notes if you like). This is non-destructive and can be completely undone later. As this is only a test, when the program instructs you to delete contacts, calendar, tasks and notes from your phone, ignore this step and do NOT delete the data from your phone.

3) Send screenshots of AkrutoSync showing that a sync completed successfully.

4) Sometimes customers encounter problems setting up sync. Please come up with some reasons a customer may be unable to set up sync. This is the part of the test we are interested in the most. The more reasons you can come up with the better.
