We’re looking for a talented and creative individual who can develop, implement and manage our company’s voice across our website, social media, PR campaigns, blog and other channels of communication. You will be responsible for creating compelling concepts, headlines, long-form copy and video scripts. Specifically, we need someone who can take our products and make the highly technical sound simple and inspiring. Responsibilities: - Develop an in-depth knowledge of our products and their features - Create and transform ideas into words for website, press releases, articles, advertisements, publications and internet content - Produce insightful and unique creative work that reflects company strategy and brand essence - Ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style of brand essence - Work both independently and closely with company executives and branding agency Requirements: - 2 to 5 years of copywriting/editing experience - Experience in corporate or design agency environment or writing - B.A. in Communications, Journalism, English or related field - Able to distill significant amounts of requested messaging into succinct copy that adheres to brand standards and is appropriate to the medium - Outstanding attention to detail and an eye for consistency across multiple projects - Ability to prioritize projects and to work efficiently within tight deadlines - Ability to work independently and take initiative to resolve questions - Ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners and effectively incorporate feedback - Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Adobe InDesign a plus - Must be comfortable learning new software and systems - Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style Project Management: - Working knowledge of Trello Submission Requirements: - Please submit a link to a portfolio that showcases your copywriting experience
