Maintain calendar of U.S. TV premiere dates. Rewrite press releases provided by TV shows to make them into articles by removing hyperbole, looking up a few facts on the Internet and doing minor rewrite. Quota of 3 articles a day. We don't clock hours. Ongoing.
Requires interest in television, meticulous attention to details, consistently meeting deadlines, copyediting skills and no ego. If you love television and can afford to work for low pay to do something you love, that's perfect. Suitable for someone offshore with a low rate or for someone retired who just likes TV. If what you really want is to be a highly paid features writer for a print magazine, you will find this job too lacking in glamour and too little pay. $120/week.
