Animating characters for kids

We are looking for 8 animating characters (in 4 color schemes each) and a portal to be included in an educational game for school-aged kids.
As a point of reference, characters may be similar (but not the same) as the “Whacked!?? XBox game characters. See <[url removed, login to view]>. The idea is to strive for simple and friendly characters with few directional moves.
Please read the attached document for complete details. A sample character image will be required in order to select the bidder.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and agreed to images as per the requested formats in the attached document.
2) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
3) Artwork must be origional (not copied).
4) Multiple itterations may be required prior to artwork approval.
## Platform
Web based application. Images will be used in a game for school aged children ages 5 to 15. Both bmp and jpg formats must be provided. See attached document.
