For my project I am trying to detect roads from a map of a certain colour. I've already written code to detect the contours of the roads that interest me using an objective c wrapper around OpenCV. However I need to extract the best fitting curved line for these roads rather than a complete contour. This is illustrated in the image below. This is a small project and should only take 1 to 2 hours if you have the skills necessary. I'm using a combination of Swift, Objective C and C++.

The majority of the code is already written however I just need the step of getting the skeleton/best fitting line of these contours implemented.
