Multi-Threaded Web Proxy High Level Features: - When your proxy receives an HTTP request for an object from a browser, it searches for requested web page in its cache. - If web page is found in cache, send the requested object to browser with a HTTP response message. - If web page is not found in cache, it generates a new HTTP request for the same object and sends it to the origin server. When the proxy receives the corresponding HTTP response with the object from the origin server, it creates a new HTTP response, including the object, sends it to the client, and also save the object in its cache. - This proxy will be multi-threaded, so that it will be able to handle multiple requests at the same time. - Test your proxy server by having different browsers request Web objects via your proxy. Technical Requirements: - implement the feature of Cache(database) for proxy server - C++ programming language is strongly encouraged, but other languages that support sockets such as Java, Python, etc, may be used. Hints - Use port numbers greater than at least 1023. - Close your sockets cleanly before exiting the program. If you abort the program, the port may not be freed. • You need to run your proxy server on one machine and testing it through browser on another machine. You can use ifconfig (Linux) or ipconfig (windows) to determine the IP address for testing across multiple machines
