This project is totally comprised of online research. You will need to research the websites of approximately 1500 event-related vendors. We will provide you the list of vendors and the information we have gathered so far. You may have to Google to find some of the websites. You will be required capture some basic info about each vendor (ex. Contact information, email address, hours of operation, etc.) and a summary of each service they offer and the price of the service, if listed.
The project will be mostly cutting and pasting of existing information from the web. Full details of specific requirements (i.e. layout and formatting) will be provided on acceptance of the project, but here are a sample of the field which will be required:
a. Name of Company
b. Name of Contact Person
c. Address
d. Telephone Number
e. Email
f. Description of each service offered
g. Price associated with each service offered
h. Photographs
Any copyright infringements will not be tolerated and are grounds for instant cancelling of the project without compensation. This means that the only place that you can paste a description word for word from will be from a venues own website. You are welcome to alter the wording from another venue listing website but these must be significant changes. It is always possible to find the venue's own website or change the words of another venue database.
Successful completion of this project will lead to many, many more projects, as we are expanding into multiple cities over the next 12 months. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must!
