I need someone to go to a basketball website I specify to collect data (basketball statistics) from 5 seasons and aggregate it into a couple of CSV files with a couple of custom entries per line (based on the teams playing and date). The data is easily accessible, I just need someone to collect it all from each game on the website. The website has downloadable CSV files of data and also displays that CSV data on the website so that it can be easily copied into a CSV file. Will be tough to do manually (will take a while to copy and paste all the data), the best way to collect it would probably be a web scraper. I need someone to collect the data from the four tables for each game into two CSV files. One CSV file has all the player statistics (all rows in the table except the "Team Totals" row) the other CSV file has all the team statistics (both "Team Totals" rows on a single line of the CSV file). Example page: [login to view URL] See example CSVs. The Game ID is the date of the game, the away team and the home team as one word. The team is the three letter abbreviation of the name.
