I need a bridge made to get GPS data from a USB device showing up as a ComPort into google earth for viewing.
The incoming GPS data will look like this: $GPS,1,2405.6452,N,12042.8702,E,15
1. Com Port Configuration
i. Baudrate = 115200 bps
ii. Data bits = 8 bits
iii. Stop bits = 1 bit
iv. Parity bits = Non
v. Flow Control = Non
2. GPS Output Data Format
$GPS, Source ID, Latitude, N or S indicator, Longitude, E or W indicator, Speed\r\n
Example:
$GPS,1,2405.6452,N,12042.8702,E,15\r\n
->1=Source ID
->2405.6452 = Latitude indicator
->N = North
->12042.8702 = Longitude
->W = West indicator
->15 = Speed over ground
->\r\n = carriage return and line feed
The software needs to run on windows 10 and windows 7.
Will want each unit shown in google earth (up to 100 unites maybe reporting over the comport).
When the software starts up will need our company logo shown.
This will supplied in PNG or JPG file format.

Hi,
I have a prior experience of retrieving data from gps modules and map the on google maps etc.
For me its just a 2-3 day work and I am sure can give the best.
Preferred development platform : .Net /C#
You have a serial port communication gps module and you want to display the location of that device on google maps but within your own application? I may be able to do this, I've worked with gps devices for a long time and i'm wondering what usb module you're using? Is it an arduino based mdule or?
Please contact me asap, Thanks.
