Edit Footnotes Strictly on Chicago Style guide: The footnotes need to be corrected and standardized.

There are a couple issues with the footnotes. First, they haven't been put into standardized format. In some cases I use the form of Chicago style that indicates a page number with "p." in other cases I don't. I'm agnostic about which we choose, but we should choose one or the other and stick with it through the manuscript. The newspaper citations are currently in many different forms. In some cases I caught tiny details -- the lack of a period at the end of the citation, or a title that wasn't italicized. It just needs a fine-tooth comb to really catch and fix things like that. Finally, the archival collections need to be abbreviated after the first appearance, and I need a key of those abbreviations that can be inserted into the final manuscript. There are also some weird spacing issues that have appeared in the footnotes now and then that I'm hoping you can fix. I need to receive the manuscript back with the footnotes corrected and standardized. Please see attached for the revised manuscript. I'd prefer if you could leave the body untouched, as I spent quite a long time on some editing and formatting issues. I think I mentioned most of the footnote issues in my previous email. One additional note: A strange hard return (space) has appeared in some of the notes, it would be great if you could fix that. Finally, as I mentioned, can you put together a key to all abbreviations of archival sources, once that is done?
