I am looking for a basic but bespoke electronic weighing and sorting system I hope you can help me with. I run a company which breeds crickets for the pet food industry and would like to develop a system which helps to harvest them automatically. I’m basically looking for a small platform linked to a sensitive electronic scale, upon which the crickets can crawll when the platform reaches the desired weight (number of crickets), it automatically flips down and the crickets fall into a harvesting hopper. I would need scales sensitive to 2 or 3 grams and for the platform to be c30x15 cm and rectangular. Happy to consider any design ideas around this theme and looking for the product to be built out.
