PCB Redesign - mSATA dual adaptor to USB

Hi there;

We've our prviously designed “mSATA” to a custom 40pin connector adaptor. We also got mSATA SSD (mini-PCIe) to USB-3 adaptor (open source) and a that we use separately.

Our goal is to design a new dual usage PCB by combining these “two” in to “one” PCB with the 40 pin on one end, and the USB-3 connector of the other, both sharing a single mini-PCIe connector. It will be great (but not necessary) if both connector could work at the same time, but it is perfectly acceptable if only one side could be used at a time.

All the information for the our custom 40pin adaptor will be provided, but I haven't got USB-3 adaptor information. You can see samples of this adaptor here [login to view URL]

The resulting PCB should be as compact as possible (as also described in the photos), also the USB connector (& the large capacitor in some of the samples) required to be on the side of the board. Nothing should go in the middle.

The PCB shapes and dimensions will be provided. Please see here for the reference pictures: [login to view URL]

It is possible to redesign the BLUE mSATA to USB-3 adaptor? (or even better USB-C)

Can you combine the two PCB in to one as described above?

What are you requirements and how long do you estimate would it take to provide me with the layout?

I need to have the PCB prototyped and manufactured before the end of this month (October), so the maximum deadline is 15 to 20 days and I highly appreciate your prompt reply.

Please make this possible by offering a reasonable price :)

Hi, I could try combining the two adaptors but I think I would have to use a 4 layer board design to fit it all in place without using way too much vias and damaging the PCB during manufacture. I would either use More
