I need to build a simple home automation system, the system will include Base station (arduino) and nodes ( bare bone arduinos ) - Base station will be connected to ethernet and a transceiver module will be attached to it. - I will send commands from my website to talk to the base station which will then send RF signal to the specific node ex: 233432:on, 233432:off - Each node got its own ID and all of them will be waiting for the right signal, once received it should open relay and send status back to the base station which will then update the status on website. - The nodes should be very cheap and use the nRF24L01 transceivers. - All the databases, website design and development will be done by me, I only need Base station & nodes design, programing & sketchs.

Hello samehaddy, I am an electronics engineer specializing in embedded systems and power electronics. Have R&D experience before in industry and have completed similar projects here in freelancer.com as well as in elance.com. Please see my profile for sample works I've had. I can definitely help you in designing the hardware and firmware (sketches) for the base station and transceiver nodes... For the base station, a simple Ethernet shield connected to arduino will suffice, and for the sensor nodes, will consider operation at low power and low cost for efficient use... For the relays that will be controlled by the sensor signals, i suppose they are connected to mains outlet (to turn-on/off a device)? just guessing from previous projects i encountered...
