Hi,
I have been working in R&D more than 15 years for international electronic design companies in NZ and Australia developing optical touchscreens, RF and power products. I have designed and developed many 8/32 bit micro-controller based designs, analogue and digital circuits, schematics & PCB layout for 8051 Silabs, PIC24s, MSP430s, Atmels, Renesas M16C, STM32 ARM MCUs ; Cyclone, Actel FPGAs, DDR2 SDRAMs as well as high voltage and power electronics designs, RF 433-915,2400Mhz Nordic, TI chips,WiFi and Bluetooth, capacitive touch interface, stepper motors, battery management etc.
I have huge experience with taking designs from concept to pilot and mass production (>100k pcs) including design reviews, verification etc. I solved many EMI/EMC emissions problems, aware how to design right for EMI, DFT/DFM.
I have vast experience with low power and discrete transistor circuit design, isolated 10-150Wt AC-DC SMPS , non-isolated DC/DC converters, buck, boost, SEPIC designs, NiMH battery management as well as peripherals USB,I2C,CAN,RS232-485,SPI,LVDS, SDRAM, EEPROM, MMC, JTAG,SATA,DVI. I have designed multilayer (2-10layers) PCBs , experience with flex designs, blind and buried vias, high-speed digital design, trace impedance control using Altium10, analogue RF design, Solidworks 3Drendering.
Some of the latest designs are:
-portable USB devices for measuring torque developed by cyclist. All real time data are stored on a MMC RTC, +gyro, accelerometer and send by Xbee , Wi
