Hi, I am working on a digital signage project and need this sensor built to allow interaction with the sign through the front window of a shop. For example, when the user presses the glass the sensor will trigger an event on the digital sign. I will also want this sensor attached to a USB interface so it can be plugged into the computer and trigger events (such as a key press). It's no problem if you can't build the windows driver, we can get someone else to do this for us. I am just interested in the hardware being built and tested for a prototype. You can see the circuit and description here: [login to view URL] Deliverable's: 1) Working prototype of the circuit that operates behind glass of shop window thickness. 2) Add-on for circuit to send signal via USB to computer Thanks for your time ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Employer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No 3rd party components unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the employer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Friday Oct 29, 2010 11:07:56 AM: Hi, I've now accepted a bidder. I thank you all for your time in answering questions along the way, most appreciated. I will try to briefly explain my thought process in choosing the winner. 1) Ratings. If you do not have ratings yet, may I suggest that you do a few jobs at a very low price to establish yourself on the site to get some ratings... it is really important. 2) As enthusiastic as it might look, creating the product before the bid is accepted means: a) you are rushing me into a particular solution. the bidding process allows the buyer to discuss the problem and work out a solution. b) it also begs the question 'if you are building it already then why should i be paying such a high price?' and: 'why is this person not busy enough that they can afford to build it before the bid is accepted. c) if you are* going to show video demos of a prototype make your working environment tidy. I accept that it doesn't make a difference to the operation of the product but giving the perception the product is built in a clean manufacturing environment helps with your marketing. 3) Try and produce images, models, mockups of previous work. 4) Have a small web-site or informational page that shows the employer the process by which you work, essentially the workflow of a typical project. Anyway, these comments are suggested as constructive criticism and hopefully will help you win more bids in the future. Thanks again for your time and good luck. John ## Platform N/A for hardware.
