The LCD display must be 3 digits and backlit. Blue backlight preferred but not essential. (you can find them here or if you have another supplier I am ok with that: [login to view URL]) Display is 30.7mm x 16.2mm. Module size (including PCB) can be +~1mm all round. Happy to have a 2 layer PCB so a micro and batteries can be included i.e. the module can be ~15mm deep. The switch is a 10mm magnetic reed switch (AO) and is connected to the back or bottom of the module by a 100mm wire with the reed switch at the furtherest point.
Function:
When the reed switch is activated the timer LCD screen lights up and counts up in seconds (max 99.9 seconds). Accuracy is not important. +-5% is ok. Once timer gets to 99.9 it continues counting from .1. Digits are only visible when counted (I don't want 09.9. Must be 9.9). Once the timer is deactivated the time continues to be displayed for ~20 seconds. After 20 seconds the power shuts off and the screen goes blank. Upon activation it resets and begins counting up again from .1
If the timer is interrupted while the LCD is displaying the time for 20 seconds it resets and begins counting up again from .1. The timer must enable this interruption.
This timer needs 14 hours of operation time. Standby time should be as long as possible (months).
I have gerber and hex files if you need them however this request differs slightly from the files I have so some work will be needed. Can be provided though.
I want 15 examples of this timer, as well as all supporting documentation to enable me to order more from my choice of manufacturer if I wish.
Good luck guys
