Barcode reading/generating with java
Step 1
Generate a Barcode image from a String (included CRC). I want to set the height of the image and a scale factor for the width.
Step 2
Generate a String from an Image. Read the barcode from the image and return the value.
You have to check the CRC. If the CRC is not correct you return a null string.
You can use free barcode reading/generating software. Have a look to [login to view URL]
I want to select the possible Barcodes:
EAN13
Code93
Code128 (A/B/C)
The function should look like this:
[login to view URL] image = GenerateBarcode(String value, String type, int height, int widthscale)
String text = ReadBarcode([login to view URL] image)
You have to test your barcode generation and your barcode reader.
