MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING LAB PROJECT -- 2

The aim of the project is to implement an algorithm in MATLAB for Knee Cartilage Segmentation in MR volumes. You can find a detailed explanation of the problem and survey of the literature in "Literature Study-MD [login to view URL]" document which is available in the project folder. The 3D MRI data "[login to view URL]" is available as a MATLAB file in the project folder. The required output is: 1) a MATLAB file "[login to view URL]" including a variable at the size of the original data (254x448x448) which has a value 1 if the corresponding voxel of the original volume is cartilage, and 0 otherwise. 2) Also you need to submit the MATLAB code with comments in the code (or a short report if you did not use MATLAB).
