I need to create a deductive spreadsheet.
The objective is to create a tool so that a user can use "MS Excel" for example with Prolog rules.
The user inputs some rules and queries into the spreadsheet, it connects to the Prolog software SWI-Prolog and answer for the spreadsheet loading the output area defined by the user.
The way I found easier to connect it is: Excel calls Java and Java calls Prolog, but I'm open to other sugestions.
Theres an example in the picture attached.
Hello! As I know, Excel's VB has access to WinAPI function ShellExcecute, so the prolog could be run w/o java. I think, simple .bat as prolog wrapper will be enouth.
I am expert in excel and VBA,Java and lot of other programming languages. we can think of doing this directly using VBA.
please let me know further.

Selvan
