I am starting an MBA course in September. Before that, all students have to complete a maths course. I would like an MBA tutor to help me though this course. Sections include:- Algebra Calculus (slope of function, derivatives, inflection points) Statistics (histograms, skewness, measures of variability) Probability (conditional, random variables, continuous random variables, normal random variables) Finance (NPV, IRR, future value, annuities, perpetuities, compound interest) Before contacting me, please qualify yourself by answering the following question. The following is quite typical so if this is not easy for you then you will be out of your depth quite quickly: Suppose that a stock is currently selling for $100. The change in the stock's price during the next year follows a normal random variable with a mean of $10 and a standard deviation of $20. What is the probability (rounded to the nearest hundredth) that the stock will sell for at least $120 in a year's time? I suggest a per hour rate. Contact me and we can discuss.

The result is 0.69. Since we want the probability of being above $20, we just compute 1-0.69=0.31
