Edit: I have completed the VBA script for you data. it has organised all of the students so they have one row and each of their programs following on. There are no duplicate student rows as I have deleted them. The script will allow you to run a macro each time you pull a report like this to organise the programs by student. I will now start work on the incell formulas if that is the direction you would like to take. Thank you, Ellen
Greeting, I have had a look at the spreadsheet you have uploaded and I can organize it in the way you require. I analyze and format data like this for my regular day job. I may need to use Visual basic but it it a very quick job. I have already started work coding this up for you with both a VBA script and in cell formulas so should you decide you want to hire me, you will not be waiting very long! I do have one question for you however, once the data has been put on one line, can the surplus lines be deleted? I can do either way, whatever is best for you.
