The inclusion of VBA macros in my financial models increases the flexibility and ease of use of the model. Manual operations can be automated which allows a model to be quickly updated and reduces the potential for errors in a model. Your proposal is possible through the use of macros within Excel. I can create a macro that will extract sheets A and B and send them to email addresses that are contained within the excel spreadsheet. It is also possible to attach text to the body of the email that contain the names of the individuals and any additional information. The ability to enter data can also be locked based on the Windows ID of the user. This can be changed as required by the ultimate owner of the spreadsheet. Hi, My name is Dan. I am an expert in excel and all advanced functionalities. I can do this codes for you. 1. For enabling edits to some worksheets, I can set it to pc user name. However, I would need to define which sheets needs to be editable by certain users. So, in a way, you would need to provide which user would need edit to which worksheets and this needs to be mapped in the code. In fact, we would need to list the User name in the Basic Info sheet which can be locked from view by other users except the administrator. 2.
