Build a website for discussion board RSS feeds

General Specifications for the Forum RSS Aggregator Website (FRAW) – Updated on April 10, 2014 Website Summar The Forum RSS Aggregator Website (FRAW) website design will categorize and display forum discussion RSS feeds from multiple discussion boards across the web. If there is an Open-Source server side app that does this, please suggest it and then we can look into integrating it for this project. Website Administration The backend administration would allow me to perform the following tasks with discussion board RSS feeds: 1. Add and Remove nested categories for assigning RSS feeds to. 2. Admin form for adding a new RSS feed to the site that includes the following: Site name Site URL Site logo or icon. Assign a Category Activate, Deactivate or Remove Number of days between check for new threads Number of threads to retrieve per day 3. Mechanism to add, edit, delete categories and RSS feeds 4. Track search keyword 5. Multiple admin login accounts Front End Design & Navigation include template design The front end of the FRAW site would allow for the following functionality: 1. List and navigate categories 2. List forum threads under each category, including Title, Author, Date, Time, number of replies, Site 3. Allow users to full-text Search all threads by category or multiple categories, displaying results. 4. Selecting a thread from a list will open a new window with the thread displayed from the source site. 5. [login to view URL] (home page) will list latest threads for each category 6. UI box that lists trending threads (most active in the past week) 7. UI box that lists “Hot” threads (threads with most replies) 8. UI box to list sponsored and featured forums 9. Menu navigation for site pages including, About, Contact, Categories, etc. 10. UI box to subscribe to the site’s own RSS feeds, Facebook and Twitter accounts. 11. eMail Registration UI for signing up users to receive eNewsletters for selected categories, daily or weekly feeds 12. eNewsletter template and mailing mechanism (can hook into 3rd-party mailing list app if needed) 13. Google Adsense banner ads on each site page and in the eNewsletter template. 14. Extensive SEO (search engine optimization) to get site feeds on page 1 of search keywords 15. Login for registered users to manage eNewsletter subscriptions. 16. Site UI design including logo, theme, custom icons for threads, etc. 17. A way for users to add comments about specific forum threads.
