This project regards the creation of a new app, probably called “Top selfies”. Using the last project as starting poing (Mundo Zapzap update), what we will do is emphasize the upload of “selfies” pictures by users and develop a way to rank them by periods: daily ranks, weekly ranks and monthly ranks. Images upload This section should look a bit more like Zueiras app, where instead of a popup to upload pictures users get a new page. They can classify their selfie pictures by multiple categories that I will provide. Examples: Woman, Man, with friends and so on. 2) Card view in random order with “Like” and “Unlike” voting system If you you check an app called “Zueiras para Whatsapp” you will see that in action. This like/unlike is part of a points system that will determine the ranking of the uploaded images. I will soon provide you the math logic that will determine this rankings. But unlike this app, our users should not be able to see the number of likes/dislikes given to the pictures. Card view should also have a “Flag this selfie” functionality, for bad pictures. We would see them on the web panel 3) Facebook registration Users will need to register in order to upload images. If they don’t want to register they still can browse and vote for the pictures It is important for us to capture the users name, gender and email on this process. I will be sending newsletter to this registered users 4) User panel We will need a simple user panel where users can see the pictures they have uploaded, its current points and position on the rankings. Users can also delete their pictures if they want to. They can only upload 1 image per day Users should have a username, so they can be searched by their name Users should also be able to “follow” other users and see their picture feed separately. I guess it would be similar to our current” Favorites” feature 5) “Asking friends for votes” functionality This is a very important feature of the app. We need a function where users can “ask for votes” from friends for their uploaded pictures. Users would share their image for voting on facebook, whatsapp and so on. The technology behind this should be deep linking, as discussed via freelancer chat.
