A Hong Kong based company invites applications for the role of Website Development Programmer. This will be a full-time role on a provisional fixed-term contract of 3 months. Thereafter, a permanent position is on offer along with increased remuneration subject to performance review.\r\n\r\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting new Start Up company based in Hong Kong founded by two successful seasoned entrepreneurs with global business experience. They are currently looking to recruit a self-motivated website developer with a solid foundation in programming. The applicant must have the experience and confidents to deliver timely results in alignment with predefined website requirements.\r\n\r\nMain responsibilities:\r\n\r\no Design and program website functionality based on a set of predefined requirement specifications\r\no To build architectural wireframe models for proof of concept\r\no To build the website for CMS capabilities\r\no Build a responsive website design suitable for mobile and tablet user interface\r\no Integrate payment gateways, like PayPal (gateway yet to be decided)\r\no Create a robust database backend to support the functionality required in a data driven website for registered end users\r\no Active participation in contributing towards a better product\r\n\r\nPersonal Specifications\r\n\r\no Ideally has 5 years experience in developing websites\r\no Demonstrate at least 3 years experience in web programming skills\r\no Solid experience in working with and creating data driven websites\r\no Can feel confident to create responsive designs \r\no Ability to build data driven website design functionality \r\n\r\nOptional personal specifications\r\n\r\no Graphic design skills to enhance end user experience\r\n\r\nKey Competences\r\n\r\no Making Effective Decisions\r\no Communicating in English\r\no Delivering solid results at pace\r\n\r\nThe hiring salary for this position is HK$60,000 for the provisional three month period.
