Build a Website with Forums

Need a website for gaming purposes. This is not a business. We host a sci-fi themed MMO RPG within a virtual reality platform. Our website is based on fictional information, however is used primarily to inform players on rules and guidelines, as well as information about the game story. We require a website that reflects this "high-tech" scifi image, so creative licence is open to the web designer to style the theme. Preferably, we will have sound effects, dynamic visuals, or interactive presentations / videos incorporated. We have a rudimentary logo but are open to it being redesigned to mesh with the website style. For those that utilise Wordpress, we require the theme/site to allow for forums. Our players will be registering with the site, to use forums for discussion purposes. Security is important to us, so prefer to keep plug-ins limited where possible. We also may like to provide application forms to users who wish to apply for specific game roles or customisation of their character's permits which need approval by game moderators. There is potential for this site to require future adjustments, as the game-play is constantly reviewed. As we are currently in the process of writing our game-play rules, the website will not be required to launch for another month or so. Please consult us on your time schedule so we can adapt our game release accordingly. It is preferred that our web designer has developing skills, or is able to out-source this, as we are looking for a completely unique website. Bells and whistles.
