Improve Carousel in AngularJS using Material on Main Landing Page

I have a simple web site using AngularJS with the Material libraries located here: [login to view URL] The main landing page should have a Carousel of 3 images that cycle. Right now this page doesn't look very good or really work. I'd like this fixed and working well. I am using AngularJS and the Angular Material library. [login to view URL] Angular Material and Bootstrap do not work well together so any solution CAN NOT include any bootstrap libraries.
