Custom Content Management Server:
A custom content manager that can manage users, graphic assets, and scheduling, and make all data available in a JSON downloadable format. The JSON format will be specified by a JSON template file.
Required Feature Set:
* User and password management for access to the system
* An interface for uploading and deleting static assets (1080 x 1920 .jpg and .png images).
* All assets available via raw download link (for programmatic download)
* A RESTful JSON interface indicating the current state of the system, based on a provided JSON template. This JSON should include all currently active assets and all future scheduled "glockenspiel events" (see below).
* An interface to manage static asset metadata. This will include a content type string, a time of day string, and start and end dates. It should also allow for client-defined tags.
* An interface to modify any/all static asset metadata, with a metadata based filter. (there may be 1000+ static assets at any given time)
* Incorporate (link to) existing web application/page which takes input form data and converts it to static 1080 x 1920 graphics to be displayed on the installation. Once created, these assets should be added to the CMS.
* Single RESTful end point for uploading assets from other automated tools.
* Create scheduled "glockenspiel events". These are timed/scheduled events that incorporate: a palette of selected colors, a date and time (on the quarter hour), and a range of 1 to 30 associated uploaded assets. There should be logic to ensure that there is no overlap in the scheduled events.
