Hi, I propose to make vector-based illustrations with many colorful elements. If the book is mostly about people then I'd suggest these people will wear cloths that have vivid colors. If the book is mostly about animals, then I'd suggest to either put them into colorful background or make animals in non-natural colors (so they're more attractive for children's). I'd apply the same concept for other themes, as well. I'd like to start with the first illustration and deliver it as soon as it's drafted - so we can discuss if you like it or not. I'm more than happy to discuss with you details of the book, the theme and your preferences for the illustrations (like technique, size, theme etc) BTW - I have kids (2 and 4 years) so I can make preliminary review of my designs with them :)
