Dear employer, My name is Sam, I'm a professional freelance illustrator and animator with 5 years industry experience. This project caught my eye mainly because I'm a huge TV and movie freak, I've visited the TV tropes website before (i understand the humour and tone of the site and it's members) and I really enjoy working on quirky illustrations that can deliver a quick pun. My style of illustration is fairly defined and does stand out from a lot of commercial work but I believe it holds a home-made/hand-crafted feeling that people enjoy. In other words, it's a style that fits well in a household (in a calendar on the wall of a movie fans home). Hello! I understand you need a skilled individual to create and design a Page-A-Day calendar for 2016 using the tv tropes provided from the link in the description. I would love to work on this project! It sounds like a lot of fun! I've worked on InDesign before for a class, but have since not used it. Instead, I've used Microsoft Office tools to create documents of all kinds, including themed monthly calendars. I would start this project on April 3, 2015 by thumbing and browsing through your tv tropes provided and selecting the top 365 that stand out most to use for the project within the first three days. I would then assemble it all into a basic sketch per page the next 7 days. Following that, I would bring them to life in InDesign the next 13 days, then spending the remaining 2 days editing, proofing, and making the final touch-ups. Again, this project looks like a lot of fun! I look forward to working with you.
