Hi all,
We are looking for an experienced javascript developer who can write a script for analytics event tracking.
For the event tracking, it will be the video events on the following two pages -->
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
The video player is FlowPlayer. You can find the event documentation for FlowPlayer at the following:
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
We need to track the following events on Flowplayer:
"all" including:
start
pause
resume
seek
stop
finish
mute
unmute
fullscreen
fullscreenExit
We will be using MixPanel via [login to view URL] for the analytics event tracking and reporting:
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
[login to view URL]
The example javascript will look similar to this:
var info = [login to view URL]("info");
$f("player", "[login to view URL]", {
// listen to following clip events
clip: {
onStart: function() {
[login to view URL]('Video Start', {
videoName: {{ video_name }},
url: {{ current_url }}
});
},
Must speak English and have excellent communication skills. We would like this project to be considered a trial for more projects similar to this in the future.
Cheers,
TC
Hello!
Thank you for inviting me to make my bid on this project!
I can implement this task using Flowplayer Javascript API.
Events "start" and "unmute" will be emulated from "resume" and "mute" events respectively, because Flowplayer API don't allow tracking this events directly.
