Make Angular 2 quickstart work with D3/ng2-d3-service

I want to get up and running my Angular 2 project with D3 typings/service/whatever.
I tried several times and several solutions and all are failing when the app loads on the client (due to all sorts of problems I don't understand)
The resulting product that I need will be either a patch or pull-request for the latest commit of the repository clone from here:

Which I can run on my browser (FF/chrome) without any JS/TS errors
I know my way into both Angular 2 and D3 (separately) I just don't know how to make them work together, so the working D3/NG code should be the minimal-for-working
IMPORTANT:
* This is mainly intended to find someone who has ALREADY DONE THIS BEFORE, for whom this could be easy money.
* If you think you are the right person for the job, please verify first that when you clone the quickstart project from github and do 'npm install d3' (or ng2-d3-service) and try to add the D3 component, you get the same 404/not found exception on the browser-console, and that you know how to fix this, I'm not looking for someone to learn now how to find and fix problems, I'm looking for someone who already KNOWS how to fix this specific problem.
