Heterodyne Structure-Borne Ultrasound Transceiver
$750-1500 USD
Paid on delivery
The Heterodyne Structure-Borne Ultrasound Transceiver will convert a sound signal on the order of 40kHz to audible sound, send this heterodyned signal through a 3.5 mm audio output, and will have an analog output of 0-10VDC that will be directly proportional to the amplitud on dB from the signal (0-40dB). This transceiver will receive the sound from a metal probe that will have an adapter to be fixed on metal surfaces (structure-borne ultrasound). It will be detecting mostly surface sounds from the metal where the sensor is mounted. The transceiver will receive a 24 VDC power supply, and must be designed on a stainless steel cilinder with a diameter less than 3 inchess and a longitud less than 8 inches. The sensor will use an output of M12 connector type, IP65. The final product will have to stand temperatures of 50°C of operation.
The final product will be a prototype for mass production, and we require you to estimate the final cost for mass production for each item, in order to be awarded with the project.
We can accept your suggestions and creativity to develop the final product.

Hello! I can offer you aDSP based and a fully analog solutions. DSP:First sample the audio signal at an appropriate frequency, next do the downconversion to audiable frequencies in a DSP, finally convert back to More
