Description:
Develop a username and password method to replace the OEM pin code use to unlock an android phone.
Example:
When an android phone is turned on from a power off or "locked" state, the user is presented with a "home screen" where he/she has to enter a pin number to unlock the phone to use it. We want the coder to write a program to replace this "pin" authentication method with a method where a user needs to enter a user name and password to use the phone.
Requirements:
1- Use development environment of your choice, however it must be free and readily accessible by us.
2- Your code must run fully in a simulated android/environment. Again the simulated android environment must be free.
3- Your code must run fully in a real android phone, but with a way for us to re-enable the OEM pin based method to unlock the phone.
4- Your code must have these 3 functions, Set_Up_ID, Input_ID, and Authenticate_ID. These 3 functions must be written in C or C++. The rest of the code can be in any language. Set_Up_ID is used to initialize (or change) an alpha-numeric username and password. Input_ID is used for entering username and password. Authenticate_ID is used to compare username and password with those that were stored by Set_Up_ID.
