Chat client proof of concept: Overview: Develop an android app, IOS app and website app that will demonstrate: - IP Voice chat functionality - Messaging (text) functionality - notifications functionality Detail Requirements: There are no requirements for the look/feel of the apps. This is just a “proof of concept” to ensure technical capability. 2 users must be able to download the same app (e.g .via testflight) Use case 1: 1.) Users 1 and 2 download and use the same app 2.) User 1 initiates IP voice call to user 2 using app 3.) User 2 gets notification of incoming voice call when not in app (e.g. phone is idle) 4.) User 2 answers call 5.) Users 1 and 2 talk via their apps Use case 2: 1.) Users 1 and 2 download and use the same app 2.) User 1 sends instant text message user 2 using app 3.) User 2 gets notification of incoming text when not in app (e.g. phone is idle), and views message 4.) User 2 replies to text message 5.) Users 1 gets notification of incoming text when not in app (e.g. phone is idle), and views message Use case 3: As above, but using web application on a computer rather than app on phone. Notification available only if app is running on PC. Use case 4: As above, but user 1 and user 2 are on different platforms, e.g. one on IOS, one on web, or one on android and one on IOS. If the proof of concept is successful, there will be a subsequent project to integrate this into an application.
