I want to help my father to stay in touch with his friends and family members with keeping some sort of automated tracking way. I thought of having Google spreadsheet app on his iPhone to have list of people and their phone numbers and everyone he opens the sheet to call he can write next to it called, no answer, not reachable etc.. So he knows who did he contact and who he couldn't. But it turned out it's too advance for him to manage. So I want to develop a very simple app that I will install on his device using xcode without being on appstore that does the following: 1- I enter list of people with their phone numbers using import feature for example using csv or so. 2- They become a list in the app where I click the phone number and it will open phone dialer to make the call. 3- if the phone is busy or not answered it returns me to the app and automatically sets a status next to the record. 4- if called and answered / he spoke to the person upon end the call or during the call (doesn't matter) it sets the status to Answered for example And so on into all rows, keeping in mind that when returning to the app after making the call or attempting the call it return on the same row that he clicked to call to make it easy for him to know which row he reached being at his age he can't memorize where did he reach How I imagine the app is a 3 columns list John, 55555555, callled Smith, 666666666, no answer And so on Maybe to have a filter on top to filter rows based on status so next weekend when he want to call the remaining friends and family he can sort or filter people he didn't reach last week etc.. Exporting results is a good idea in case we want to switch phones in future and want to import the contacts and statuses Also maybe having (i) next to a contact and clicking it will show a timestamp when was last call attempt :) that will be an extra column in the exported csv when needed
