I need a class - written in .Net C# - that is able to automatically dial into an internet service providor (ISP) with which I have an account. This should effectively be an automation of simply clicking the "connect" or "dial" button in the dial-up dialogs of windows.
The class should have two main methods: DialOut() and HangUp(). Consider using the DotRAS API ([login to view URL]) as it looks appropriate.
This should not be multi-threaded. Dialout() should simply block until either a successful connection is made or the connection attempt failed, in which case it should throw an exception. HangUp should hang up the call.
You can assume that the modem has been installed and dial-up connection has been added in dial-up networking.
Must work on Windows 7 and XP.
Overall, this looks to be quite simple - I just don't have experience with remote access features of Windows.
Hi,
I have experience working with RAS and can complete this .NET class very quickly. I look forward to hearing from you and thanks for your time.
