Hi all -
I am a frontend designer and am working with a developer who requires me to setup a local dev environment on my MacBook so I can work on the development version of our project. The project uses php and mongodb, and I need to get rockmongo running to administer the database.
The problem is that I can't seem to get mongo running on my mac - it's worked before on my old mac so I know it's possible, however I've just updated my machine and am getting an error when trying to run rockmongo that a compatible version cannot be found, and also when running the project.
I am after someone to install mongo on my mac (mongo and any required php extensions) so that mongo based php projects including rockmongo can run.
I've attached a screenshot below which shows that i have mongo installed, but am unsure what other php extensions require installed or if I have done it correctly. I am using MAMP and OSX 10.12 (Sierra).
Many thanks for your time. PS: I'm happy to go over budget if the right person is involved, but I found the price bracketing a bit strange so chose 'micro project'.
Hi, I am a MongoDB expert and a Mac user too. I can fix this issue for you.
Let me know the exact error that you are getting while connecting to MongoDB.
