ColdFusion DNS query function (WMI object)

**ColdFusion DNS query function** For our local DNS management we need a shell around the Microsoft DNS server. From our point of view this is **quite easy to do** with an interface to the **Microsoft WMI object** but we don't have the experience how to call that object. Bottom-line we need a list of domains hosted at the DNS server which we can manage throught our application server. From this list we can pick a domain and retrieve the full details (DNS records, TTL, subdomains, etc) for the domain we requested. Need to have: - **Function DNSDomainList**(input = "dns server name or dns server ip address") A function which lists the complete list of domains from the DNS server. The results is a ColdFusion grid (structure, array or query) which contains the list of domains. - **Function DNSDomainDetails**(input = "domain name") A function which lists the complete details of a domain from the DNS server. The results is a ColdFusion grid (structure, array or query) which contains the complete details of the domain. The complete details include all details from the DNS server for this domain (DNS records, TTL, subdomains, etc). Nice to have: - A function-set to **add (or modify, delete) a record** in the DNS server A function which adds (of modifies) a record to the DNS server. Arguments are any DNS settings as name, type (A, MX, etc) and TTL.
