The task is to convert a small, existing Visual C Program to Delphi.
Take a look at the C-Source at <[login to view URL]>
I need the code in Delphi7. If you use external components, these have to be included with sourcecode.
It is enough to convert the c-source to a "normal" GUI-Delphi-Application. I don't need it as a service.
A quick-guide to test functionality (also included in the ZIP-File):
=============================================
The [login to view URL] (also called "Repeater") is a program for the pc-remote-control-Software UltraVNC.
It is used in "MODEII" which enables a supporter to remote-control a customer-pc without changing settings (for example Port-Forwardings) on the customers' or supporters' internet-router.
How does it work?
=================
We have 3 Computers:
1 Customer-PC - here sits the customer who needs help and wants his PC to be remoted-controlled by a Supporter
1 Supporter-PC - here sits the supporter who wants to help his customer
1 Server - a PC running the Distributor (normally this pc is permanently connected to the internet with a static IP)
The Customer starts the [login to view URL] which calls the [login to view URL] with the Distributor-PC-Name and a "Session-ID" as parameters
The Supporter starts the [login to view URL] which calls [login to view URL] with the Distributor-PC-Name and a "Session-ID" (the same ID as the Customer) as parameters
I've uploaded a test-kit to <[login to view URL]> - here you find everything to test the code. Included is a compiled version of the (unmodified) distributor-c-sourcecode.
If you test the c-program you will recognize, that the session-ids are always numeric.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When converting the code to Delphi it is VERY VERY important to make the program handle ALPHANUMERIC session-ids!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This could be a bit tricky because (as far as I have seen) the session-ids are also used to index variables in the c-code. But an experienced Programmer will be able to handle this ;)
