You are to design a system that models a simple ecosystem where DOLPHINS eat FISH and FISH arenibble(partially eat)[login to view URL] system will simulate on a week by week basis the growth, reproduction and feeding of these organisms, outputting simple statistics regarding the numbers of each organism and their weights, etc.
USER REQUIREMENTS.
1. Every organism (DOLPHIN,FISH,PLANT)is given an initial size, measured in grams and also a growth rate, measured in grams per week.
2. Each organism has an 'operation' names simulate_week, which causes the organism to simulate the passage of one week in its [login to view URL] other words activating simulate_week causes the organism grow by its current growth rate.(the value contained in growth rate is added to the size)
3. While every PLANT increases by their growth rate and gets nibbled by FISH,the growth of an animal depends on them consuming a given amount of food each week to [login to view URL] a week has passed and the animal has consumed less than its required amount of food, then death occurs.
[login to view URL] program will start with a certain number of each organism.1000 PLANTS,100 FISH and 3 DOLPHINS.
[login to view URL] the dolphins, fish and plants in appropriate data structures, for instance arrays,or preffered, some kind of STL container like a vector or a list.
[login to view URL] each week in the ocean, first simulate some randomly selected FISH to nibble on a certain amount of PLANTS, and then cause some randomly selected DOLPHINS to eat a certain amount of [login to view URL] the feeding,simulate_week operation is activated for each organism. Dead dolphins and fish are removed from the ocean.
[login to view URL], at the end of the week FISH and DOLPHINS may give birth to new FISH and DOLPHINS. the new number of DOLPHINS and FISH is the current number multiplied by an appropriate birth rate constant.
[login to view URL] week the simulation prints a few statistics-these show the number of DOLPHINS and FISH currently alive and the total mass of the PLANTS.
The simulation interface should be able to:
[login to view URL] a dolphin, fish or plant to the simulation lists.
[login to view URL] a randomly selected [login to view URL] or plant from the simulation lists.
[login to view URL] the current total mass of the plants.
[login to view URL] a randomly selected fish nibbling a plant
[login to view URL] a randomly selected dolphin eating a fish
[login to view URL] the full simulation with user input for the numbers of dolphins, fish and plants and number of weeks of the simulation.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
the program needs to run on windows platform and must be written using C++ builder.
