Hey, I'm looking for some c++ help. I have a project that is 60% complete and have reached a road block. Basically my programming needs to retrieve data from a weblink (php that acesses database, which is already functioning). This data retrieved as a string must then be saved in multiple const char type variables each a maximum of 4 kb.
The final copy will be a dll that another application is accessing. The application only reads const char variables (to a max of 4kb).
Our code has a working request in it.
Background Info:
The string requested is stored on our database in several entries of which our existing php code is mindful of, its total size will be < 5mb, if the string must be retrieved in segments, we can modify our php code to work based on multiple url requests.
The dll is expected to contain an entry point of a form _RVExtension@12, with a following C signature:
void __stdcall RVExtension(char *output, int outputSize, const char *function);
