Add student list on webpage from MySQL database using php

The following page is done by hand using FrontPage...I need the student member list (shown towards middle of page) to be displayed from the MySQL database, sorted by last name. <[login to view URL]> The information to display is exactly what is on the page currently...I simply need it to be dynamic. Fields are: Student name, State, and Date student registered The information at the top of the page would not be used on that page. (Winning photographers) ** I would like to have an A-Z links bar at the top of the page allowing viewers to be able to view all student members with the last name beginning with A and so forth.
