Algebraic Transformation Tool, Extended(repost)
$30-100 USD
Paid on delivery
I am designing an educational interface for teaching algebra rules. I am looking for a programmer to extend an existing graphical system which allows users to interact with physically displayed equations in meaningful ways. A graphical system written in Java already parses mathematical expressions and displays them on the screen. Two interfaces support equation transformation. For more details on the original system, see the spec for the original task (algebra transformation [url removed, login to view]). The task of the coder will be to extend these systems in the following ways: 1) Create an interface to allow the user to set the font and font size of the graphical interface 2) Extend the transposition scheme to single elements 3) Extend the graphical interface to infer transformations from the location of the mouse release.
